Everything I like to make is good for a dinner party. It just doesn't seem worth it to cook just for me - not when there is Whole Foods nearby.

Sign me up for Jocelyn's great idea for a recipe book for adoptive moms. 3 ingredients or less!!!

That's genius.ferenge mamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14627172414923866748noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1743328224750449132.post-91764495475352183662007-11-28T11:16:00.000-05:002007-11-28T11:16:00.000-05:00Yeah, I thought I was going to be doing a lot mroe...Yeah, I thought I was going to be doing a lot mroe cooking when I became a mom, but it hasn't happened. I ams till going to WholeFoods for sushi and rotisserie chickens or eating out. I ahd big plans of cooking a large meal on the weekend and having leftovers for the week, but it is hard to cook a real meal with a toddelr running around tearing up your house while you sautee. The best I do is making some rice and beans after Amara goes to sleep. We eat out a lot. I have found lots of kid-friendly places, so I can tell you where to go. We are at Austin grill a lot. Rice & beans plate for kids - $1. Add a scrambled egg or applesauce - $1. and Tastee Diner has lots of Ethiopian waitresses looking to dote on your baby.Traceyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01458243392930197050noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1743328224750449132.post-13341320803464232662007-11-27T23:50:00.000-05:002007-11-27T23:50:00.000-05:00Really, we have to cook when we bring our girls ho...Really, we have to cook when we bring our girls home?? Maybe we should start an adoptive mom's recipe book that has requirements of only 3 steps and 3 ingredients per recipe:-) You are so good at these fun projects, start planning it!!!!Jocelynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13797937373980987124noreply@blogger.com
