I actually used this method many moons ago, but when I started making more money I bought more expensive products (I don't even really remember if it made a difference). Now that I have Baby I coming home maybe I should go back to the other method...I'll let you know how that works out and if it is a difference although price wise, this could be a great thing!
Ohh..one quick warning about the site though, she does not say anything about poo pooing, putting vinegar in your hair or not washing it at all for weeks at a time! I think she will even let you send her pictures and haircare questions! So...if you have haircare drama with your little one, try asking the biracial hair care chick!

Thanks so much for the link to this site! My daughters hair is quite similar to hers so I would like to try some of her tips. I did however notice that she did not offer any suggestions on how to get a very stubbern eleven year old girl to allow her mother to continue to do her hair. For some reason this particular child feels she is grown enough to do her own hair, and the tangled mess in the back is a "style" her mother is just not familiar with :)
wow!!! i loved that site!! her hair is beautiful...and so long! although my hair isn't as tightly curled as hers, i am about to try her methods to see how they work for me. shoot, anything to get me away from the flat iron and to not be scared of rain and humidity is worth trying, for real.
Thanks for the link - I love her hair and will take a closer look at her methods.
I have to say that (1)that girl is beautiful, and (2) Kiana's hair looks great in all the pictures, Anna!
Thank ya very much Katy- but you see most all of those pictures were taken before she turned eleven. Apparently as the clock was turning on her eleventh birthday, it magically made it so that she is old enough to do her own hair, thank you very much. And no, she doesnt want cute braids or perky pony tails. No she doesnt want my friend Mimi to do lovely corn rows with chick beads. She will do her own hair now and thats that. Do you think perhaps it will change back when she turns twelve? I have no idea where she got her stubborness from............:)
