Say Mama

Exactly one week later, more Baby Boy dreams last night:

I was in my family room in the basement (where I spend most of my time) and I turned my office into his nursery.  My mother put him down to sleep, but I wanted to see him and went in.  He was in his crib just rolling around smiling.  I laughed and couldn't resist picking him up and then I had to change his diaper.  He started with the kiddie chatter saying "ba ba."  I replied say "ma ma."  He laughed and we went back and forth until I woke up.

Am I going to have these dreams of babies, until Baby I or Baby Boy come home, for the next year or so?  Nesting or heart-rending?

Man that might be heart-wrenching. I dream about everybody else's baby but never my own!!!!

I hope the baby dreams continue - what sweeter dreams could you have?

Oh, I love laughing-baby dreams. I've had 2 of them myself. They're precious, mysterious little gifts!

Tami,
I hope you don't mind that I've put a link to your blog on our blog. We are a fairly new adoption ministry for Ethiopia and I'd love our adoptive families to have links to as many other parents as possible! Blessings on your adoption!

Isn't it amazing how you can dream about a child you have never seen or met? Once we learned about our two little ones, my dreams intensified. At the beginning of March I had one that was so real I woke up wondering if they were asleep in their bedroom. It took me a minute to get my bearings and realize that we hadn't even gone to Ethiopia to pick them up yet.

Last night I only dreamed about Isaac. He was younger than he actual is but I was rocking him kissing his forehead telling him over and over again, "I love you, I love you, I love you."

I feel for your wait Tami. As someone who has longed for children for 17 years, my heart truly goes out to you.

Yep, you will. Here's confirmation and proof: Several weeks before our referral, I kept dreaming about this tiny little girl. Whenever I picked her up from her crib, she would laugh and shine...yes, shine. I dreamt this reaccuring dream for several days. Each dream stayed with me during the day until I would sit and be still before the LORD.

Well, a few days ago, we received an update on the CocoPrincess and guess what??? She is the same tiny little girl from my dreams. Now, I'm really balling because I'm here and she's in there and I want her in my arms. ***And this is from a chicka who didn't want an infant***
